Flash back to the time when shakes, hot dogs, apple pie, hoola hoops, yo-yo’s and poodle skirts were the hottest tickets around. A time when kids roamed free until the sun went down and John Wayne was black, white, and shades of grey.
Don your best 50’s wear and head over the Quantum Learning Network Conference Center for the joint Oceanside and Vista Chamber’s Fabulous 50’s Sunset Mixer on Wednesday, April 7th from 5:00 -7:00 pm.
The QLN Conference Center is excited to show off their meeting and conference space and help you plan your perfect function.
Get your hips ready for some hoola-hooping action and your reflexes ready for some yo-yo contests! You know you still got that inner child in you just raring for a chance to “walk the dog” or “rock the cradle”.
Featured at the mixer will be food from Ruby’s Diner, Apple Spice Junction, Dad’s Hot Dogs, and Isaac’s Catering. There will be a no-host bar available as well as great raffle prizes and networking.
Cost to attend is $10 for members and $20 for prospective members. Themed dress is optional and it always makes for a good time. I will be in my best replica of Grease attire. Just goes to show you are never too young or too old to have fun while mixing and mingling with your fellow chamber members.
The QLN Conference Center is located off of Oceanside Blvd. and Avenida del Oro at 1938 Avenida del Oro, Oceanside. Parking is located at the Center or you may park in the lot right next to their building.
