The Community Service Award was presented to the Oceanside Boys and Girls Club with Tammy Walz accepting the plaque on behalf of the organization.  The Oceanside Boys & Girls Club has a long standing record in the community supporting Oceanside’s youth and they are a worthy recipient of this honor.

Jacque Martin presented Jay Anderson, President of Operation Homefront, a check in the amount of $3500.00, monies raised from our 10th Annual Golf With a Hero Tournament.

Debbie Allen accepted her position and said she was honored to be in the company of men and women who continue to give back to their community.  She noted this was a year of transition for both the Chamber and the Welcome Center and invited those in attendance to visit both venues.  Debbie also shared the news that the Chamber has a adopted a new vision statement and there is no doubt that she will help the Chamber achieve new goals.
